- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with kidney disease to determine the need for a transplant and develop individualized treatment plans
- Coordinate with other physicians and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients before and after transplant surgery
- Perform and oversee transplant surgeries, ensuring the highest level of surgical skill and attention to patient safety
- Monitor and manage post-transplant complications, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and provide input on treatment plans
- Educate patients and their families on the transplant process, potential risks and benefits, and post-transplant care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation related to patient care
- Stay current on advancements and best practices in nephrology and transplant medicine through continuing education and professional development opportunities
- Collaborate with hospital staff and administration to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the transplant program
- Uphold the mission, values, and ethical standards of Providence St. Joseph Health in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and the community.
Active And Unrestricted Medical License In The State Of Practice.
Medical Degree (Md Or Do) And Board Certification In Nephrology.
Completion Of A Fellowship In Transplant Nephrology.
Experience In Managing Renal Transplant Patients, Including Pre-Transplant Evaluation, Post-Transplant Care, And Management Of Transplant-Related Complications.
Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills, With Ability To Work Effectively In A Multidisciplinary Team.
