Job Description

Providence St. Patrick Hospital is looking for a highly-skilled and compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant to join our Sleep Laboratory team. In this role, you will be tasked with providing outstanding patient care and support to our Sleep Lab staff. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong dedication to helping others, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to demonstrate expertise in the medical field. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide outstanding patient care and support to the Sleep Lab staff, ensuring that the highest standard of care is delivered.
  2. Use excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  3. Monitor patient vital signs and provide comfort measures as needed.
  4. Assist with patient preparation for sleep studies, including setting up the necessary equipment and monitoring the patient throughout the night.
  5. Perform quality control checks on all sleep study equipment and supplies.
  6. Collect and document patient data in accordance with established protocols.
  7. Assist with patient education regarding sleep issues, treatments, and lifestyle modifications.
  8. Maintain accurate medical records and documents.
  9. Follow safety protocols and adhere to all policies and procedures.
  10. Participate in continuing education and training programs to stay abreast of advances in the field.
