
Group Therapist - Adolescent and Adult

- Conduct group therapy sessions for adolescent and adult clients to address mental health challenges.
- Create a safe and supportive environment for clients to share and explore their thoughts and feelings.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each group and individual.
- Collaborate with other members of the treatment team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for clients.
- Monitor and track individual progress and provide appropriate interventions as needed.
- Facilitate discussions and activities to promote self-awareness, coping skills, and healthy communication within the group.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
- Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in group therapy.
- Provide education and resources to clients and their families to support their mental health journey.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of client care.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in regular supervision and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work culture that values diversity and promotes teamwork.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures to ensure a safe and respectful workplace.
- Continuously assess and improve group therapy programs to meet the changing needs of clients and the community.
Master's Degree In Counseling, Psychology, Or Social Work With A Focus On Group Therapy.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Providing Group Therapy For Adolescents And Adults.
Strong Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Therapeutic Techniques For Treating A Variety Of Mental Health Issues In A Group Setting.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Facilitate Group Discussions And Foster A Safe And Supportive Environment.
Licensed Or Certified In The State Of Montana As A Therapist Or Counselor, With A Specialization In Group Therapy.
