Job Description

Providence St. Patrick Hospital is seeking a passionate and innovative individual to join our team as an Healthcare Data Analyst. We are looking for an individual who is eager to leverage their data analysis skills to make meaningful contributions to our hospital's health data analytics. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and an aptitude for problem-solving.The Healthcare Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing healthcare data to provide insight for our hospital's decision-making processes. The analyst will use data analysis software and other tools to create detailed reports and present data to stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of healthcare data and be able to identify trends and patterns to suggest areas of improvement and cost savings.The successful candidate must possess a degree in healthcare data analytics, healthcare informatics, or a related field. A minimum of two years of experience in healthcare data analysis is also required. Proficiency in healthcare data analysis software, such as SAS, is a plus. Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze healthcare data to provide meaningful insights for hospital decision making.
  2. Utilize data analysis software and other tools to create detailed reports and present data to stakeholders.
  3. Identify trends and patterns to suggest areas of improvement and cost savings.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely data collection and analysis.
  5. Develop and document data collection and analysis processes.
  6. Monitor data accuracy and quality control.
  7. Develop and maintain data visualization dashboards.
  8. Support the development of data-driven healthcare solutions.
  9. Keep up-to-date with the latest healthcare data analysis technologies and techniques.
  10. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data analysis software.
