MRI Technologist

The MRI Technologist will need to be a reliable self-starter with the ability to quickly learn new procedures, as well as the flexibility to work shifts.This position requires a minimum of an Associates degree in Radiologic Technology and certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). In addition, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in MRI, or a completion of an MRI program.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate MRI machines and equipment in accordance with established protocols.
2. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
3. Prepare and position patients for MRI exams.
4. Monitor patients’ well-being during exams.
5. Take images and document results.
6. Provide patient education about MRI procedures.
7. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
8. Maintain accurate patient records and enter data into the computer.
9. Provide quality customer service and ensure patient satisfaction.
10. Stay up-to-date with advances in MRI technology and best practices.
