Cytotechnologist

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cytotechnologist to join our Cytology team.As a Cytotechnologist, you will be responsible for performing microscopic examinations of body fluids, as well as gynecologic and non-gynecologic preparations. You will use your expertise to identify and classify abnormal cells in order to diagnose diseases.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Cytotechnology or a related field, as well as certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or other equivalent certification. You should have a minimum of two years of clinical experience in a cytology laboratory, as well as proven knowledge and understanding of cytology principles and procedures. Additionally, you should be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.If you are a self-motivated individual who is passionate about providing the highest quality of diagnostic services, then we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities: • Perform microscopic examinations of body fluids, gynecologic and non-gynecologic preparations • Identify and classify abnormal cells in order to diagnose diseases • Maintain and update cytology records • Ensure strict adherence to laboratory safety standards • Monitor and maintain quality control procedures • Follow laboratory protocols and procedures • Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure timely and accurate results • Maintain a working knowledge of laboratory equipment • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively
