We’re on the lookout for a highly organized and detail-oriented Specimen Technician to join our team at Quest Diagnostics. You must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information, as well as have a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently or in a team. Responsibilities:

  1. Perform specimen processing, data entry, and analysis in a timely and accurate manner.
  2. Receive, sort, and process laboratory specimens in accordance with established protocols.
  3. Ensure that all specimens are handled and processed in compliance with all Quest Diagnostics safety and quality standards.
  4. Track and monitor specimen processing activities to ensure that all specimens are processed in a timely manner.
  5. Maintain accurate records of all specimen processing activities.
  6. Provide customer service support to clients, as needed.
  7. Troubleshoot any issues that arise in the specimen processing process.
  8. Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accuracy of specimens and data.
  9. Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth specimen processing operations.
