Specimen Technician

Responsibilities:
- Perform specimen processing, data entry, and analysis in a timely and accurate manner.
- Receive, sort, and process laboratory specimens in accordance with established protocols.
- Ensure that all specimens are handled and processed in compliance with all Quest Diagnostics safety and quality standards.
- Track and monitor specimen processing activities to ensure that all specimens are processed in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all specimen processing activities.
- Provide customer service support to clients, as needed.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise in the specimen processing process.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accuracy of specimens and data.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth specimen processing operations.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent
