Welcome to RSM US, a leading provider of audit, tax, and consulting services to the private equity industry. We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a PE Fund Services Business Development Director. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our client base within the private equity fund services sector. We are looking for a self-starter with a proven track record of success in business development, client relationship management, and a strong understanding of the private equity market.   1. Develop and implement strategic plans to increase business growth and expand client base within the private equity fund services sector.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the private equity industry, including fund managers, investors, and other service providers.
  3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and other business development tactics.
  4. Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and potential client needs.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions for clients and effectively communicate the value proposition of our services.
  6. Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients and participate in sales meetings and pitches.
  7. Manage the entire sales process, including lead generation, proposal development, contract negotiations, and client onboarding.
  8. Maintain a deep understanding of our services and capabilities to effectively position and differentiate them in the market.
  9. Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals on a consistent basis.
  10. Serve as a brand ambassador for RSM US, representing the company at industry events and conferences.
  11. Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements to ensure our services meet all necessary standards.
  12. Provide exceptional client service and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
  13. Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve and enhance our services based on client feedback and industry developments.
  14. Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and progress using CRM software.
  15. Act as a mentor and leader to other team members and assist in their development as needed.

This Will Enable Them To Effectively Identify And Pursue New Business Opportunities For Rsm Us.

  • Proven Track Record In Business Development: The Business Development Director Should Have A Strong Track Record Of Success In Developing And Securing New Business For A Pe Fund Services Firm. This Includes A Demonstrated Ability To Identify And Cultivate Relationships With Prospects, Negotiate Deals, And Close Sales.

  • Strong Network Within The Pe Industry: In Addition To Experience, The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Network Within The Private Equity Industry. This Includes Relationships With Key Decision-Makers At Private Equity Firms, As Well As With Other Service Providers In The Industry.

  • Exceptional Communication And Presentation Skills: As The Face Of Rsm Us To Potential Clients, The Business Development Director Must Have Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills. This Includes The Ability To Effectively Articulate The Value Proposition Of Rsm's Fund Services And Build Rapport With Clients.

  • Strategic Thinking And Business Acumen: The Business Development Director Should Possess Strong Strategic Thinking Skills And Business Acumen. This Includes The Ability To Identify Market Trends, Assess Competitive Landscape, And Develop Targeted Sales Strategies To Position Rsm Us As A Leading Provider Of Pe Fund Services.
