As a Supplier Diversity Intern, you will have the opportunity to support our Supplier Diversity Program and assist in promoting an inclusive and diverse supply chain. We are looking for a driven and dynamic individual with a strong interest in supplier diversity, excellent communication skills, and a desire to learn and grow.   • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to promote and increase supplier diversity within the organization
  • Conduct research and analysis on current supplier diversity trends and best practices
  • Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to identify potential diverse suppliers and build relationships with them
  • Help maintain a database of diverse suppliers and track their performance and usage within the organization
  • Participate in supplier diversity events and conferences to represent the organization and network with diverse suppliers
  • Support the communication and education efforts for the Supplier Diversity Program, both internally and externally
  • Assist in creating and maintaining reports and metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of the Supplier Diversity Program
  • Stay updated on industry and regulatory changes related to supplier diversity and make recommendations for program improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure supplier diversity goals are integrated into overall business strategies and processes
  • Act as a liaison between the organization and diverse suppliers, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.

  • Knowledge Of Supplier Diversity: A Strong Understanding Of The Principles And Practices Of Supplier Diversity, Including Supplier Diversity Certifications, Diverse Supplier Categories, And Supplier Diversity Best Practices.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability To Gather And Analyze Data Related To Supplier Diversity, Including Supplier Spend, Supplier Demographics, And Supplier Performance, To Identify Trends And Opportunities For Improvement.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Diverse Stakeholders, Including Diverse Suppliers, Internal Teams, And External Partners.
