Cybersecurity Analyst

At SAIC, we are looking for an outstanding Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team and help ensure the security of our data and networks. The ideal candidate should possess excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to think quickly and creatively, and of course, a passion for cyber security. In addition, the candidate must have a detailed understanding of cyber security principles, technologies, and best practices. To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar, and a minimum of three years of experience in cyber security. The candidate should also have experience with security protocols, encryption algorithms, and vulnerability assessment tools. Responsibilities:

• Analyze cyber security threats and vulnerabilities, and develop solutions to protect the organization’s data and networks from malicious attacks
• Develop and implement cyber security protocols, policies, and best practices to ensure the safety of the organization’s data and networks
• Monitor system performance and identify potential security issues
• Identify and analyze potential security risks and recommend effective countermeasures
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and security audits
• Research and implement new cyber security technologies and solutions
• Stay abreast of current cyber security trends and threats
• Provide technical advice and guidance to the organization on cyber security matters
• Participate in crisis management and incident response activities
• Document cyber security processes, procedures, and technical specifications
• Report cyber security incidents and provide detailed reports
