Cybersecurity Analyst

We at SAIC are looking for a highly qualified Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team and help us protect our customers’ data. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with experience in all aspects of cybersecurity and a passion for problem-solving. We are looking for an individual with the ability to think strategically and analytically while also being comfortable with technology.To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Additionally, the candidate must have a minimum of three years of experience in information security, network security, and/or system administration. The candidate must also have a comprehensive understanding of security principles, industry best practices, and applicable regulatory requirements.A successful Cybersecurity Analyst at SAIC will have excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to work as part of a team, and the willingness to stay abreast of the latest security trends. Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and analyze network and system security to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats.
2. Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and configurations.
3. Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security risks.
4. Design and implement security solutions to protect data and applications.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve security incidents and breaches.
6. Research and evaluate emerging security technologies to identify opportunities for improvement.
7. Create and maintain detailed documentation, including system configurations, incident reports, and security policies.
8. Provide training to users on security best practices.
9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security trends, threats, and vulnerabilities.
10. Serve as an escalation point for security related incidents.
