Are you an experienced communications professional with a passion for strategic planning and collaboration? SAIC is seeking a Joint Strategic Communications SME to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to our clients in the development and execution of joint communications strategies. As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure effective and impactful communication efforts that align with strategic objectives. If you possess strong communication skills, a deep understanding of joint operations, and a desire to make a meaningful impact, we want to hear from you.

  1. Develop and implement joint communications strategies in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  2. Provide expert guidance and support to clients on effective communication tactics and best practices.
  3. Work closely with clients to understand their strategic objectives and ensure alignment of communication efforts.
  4. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships and effectively communicating recommendations.
  5. Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform communication strategies and tactics.
  6. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in joint communications to continuously improve strategies.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute joint communication plans.
  8. Monitor and measure the success of communication efforts, making adjustments as needed to ensure objectives are met.
  9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
  10. Represent the organization as a subject matter expert on joint communications in meetings and presentations.
  11. Provide clear and concise communication to clients and stakeholders on project progress and deliverables.
  12. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines in the development and execution of communication strategies.
  13. Mentor and train junior team members on joint communication best practices and strategies.
  14. Proactively identify and address potential issues or challenges with communication strategies and provide timely solutions.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve communication processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Strategic Communications, With A Focus On Government Or Military Clients.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Joint Military Operations And Familiarity With The Department Of Defense (Dod) Communication Processes And Procedures.

  • Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Develop And Deliver Effective Strategic Communication Plans.

  • Proven Experience In Developing And Implementing Successful Communication Strategies, Including Social Media, Media Relations, And Crisis Communications.
