At SAIC, we are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Model Based Systems Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development, integration, and validation of model-based designs for aerospace and defense products. They should have a passion for developing and integrating complex systems, and a commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in systems engineering and model-based development. They should have a strong understanding of system architecture, design, integration, and testing, and be knowledgeable in the aerospace or defense industry. The position also requires knowledge of model-based systems engineering and related tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, UML, and SysML. In addition, excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills are essential.
