- Stay updated on current environmental policies and regulations, and provide expert analysis and guidance to clients.
- Conduct research and analysis on environmental issues, including identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop and implement sustainable solutions.
- Advise clients on best practices for environmental compliance and assist in developing action plans.
- Conduct environmental impact assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of environmental policies and make recommendations for improvement.
- Communicate complex environmental concepts and policies to clients and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Stay informed on industry trends and developments in environmental policy and make recommendations for incorporating them into client strategies.
- Lead and mentor junior environmental policy analysts, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
Advanced Degree In Environmental Science Or Policy: A Senior Environmental Policy Analyst At Saic Should Possess A Master's Or Phd Degree In Environmental Science, Policy, Or A Related Field. This Advanced Education Demonstrates A Deep Understanding Of Environmental Issues And Analytical Skills Necessary For The Role.
Extensive Experience In Environmental Policy Analysis: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In Environmental Policy Analysis, Preferably In A Consulting Or Government Setting. This Experience Should Include Conducting Research, Developing And Implementing Policies, And Evaluating Their Effectiveness.
Knowledge Of Environmental Regulations And Legislation: A Senior Environmental Policy Analyst Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Federal, State, And Local Environmental Regulations And Legislation. This Includes Knowledge Of The Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, And Other Relevant Laws And Policies.
Strong Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Analyze Complex Data, Identify Trends, And Make Recommendations Based On Findings. A Senior Environmental Policy Analyst Should Have Excellent Critical Thinking Skills And Be Able To Present Data In A Clear And Concise Manner.
Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills: Saic's Senior Environmental Policy Analyst Will Be Responsible For Leading And Managing Projects, As Well As Communicating With Clients, Stakeholders, And Team Members.
