- Lead the operations and maintenance of the company's Google Cloud environment.
- Ensure the stability, scalability, and security of the Google Cloud environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the performance and cost efficiency of the Google Cloud environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or incidents related to the Google Cloud environment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Google Cloud technologies and best practices, and make recommendations for their implementation within the company.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to identify and address any technical challenges or requirements.
- Proactively monitor and analyze the Google Cloud environment to identify opportunities for improvement and make necessary adjustments.
- Document and maintain standard operating procedures for the Google Cloud environment.
- Train and mentor junior engineers on Google Cloud technologies and processes.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure that project timelines and deliverables are met.
- Communicate with stakeholders and provide regular updates on the status of the Google Cloud environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and security standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide support during off-hours if needed.
Extensive Experience With Google Cloud Platform (Gcp) Services And Infrastructure: A Senior Google Cloud Engineer O&M Lead Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Gcp Services And How To Architect, Deploy, And Manage Them Effectively. In Addition, They Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Gcp Infrastructure Components Such As Compute, Storage, Networking, And Security.
Strong Knowledge Of Devops Principles And Practices: As A Senior Google Cloud Engineer O&M Lead, The Candidate Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Devops Principles And Best Practices. This Includes Experience With Infrastructure Automation, Configuration Management, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (Ci/Cd), And Monitoring.
Proven Experience In Leading And Managing Operations And Maintenance (O&M) Teams: The Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Leading And Managing O&M Teams For Complex And Highly Available Systems. This Includes Experience With Incident Management, Problem Resolution, And Change Management Processes.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Senior Google Cloud Engineer O&M Lead, The Candidate Will Need To Effectively Communicate With Various Stakeholders, Including Technical Teams, Business Leaders, And Clients.
