  1. Develop and implement strategies to optimize the reliability, availability, and maintainability of SAIC's systems.
  2. Perform in-depth analysis of system performance data to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement efforts.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure RAM requirements are integrated into system design and development.
  4. Utilize industry best practices and innovative techniques to enhance system performance and effectiveness.
  5. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to address potential system failures.
  6. Lead the development and execution of RAM testing and evaluation plans.
  7. Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams on RAM engineering principles and practices.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in RAM engineering to identify opportunities for innovation and advancement within SAIC's systems.
  9. Communicate with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements and ensure they are met through RAM engineering solutions.
  10. Mentor and train junior engineers on RAM engineering principles and techniques.
  11. Document and report on RAM engineering activities and outcomes to stakeholders and management.
  12. Work collaboratively with project managers to ensure RAM engineering tasks are completed within budget and on schedule.
  13. Participate in design reviews and provide recommendations for improvements to ensure RAM requirements are met.
  14. Act as a subject matter expert on RAM engineering for SAIC, both internally and externally.
  15. Maintain a high level of professionalism and uphold SAIC's values in all interactions and tasks.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Developing And Implementing Reliability, Availability, And Maintainability (Ram) Strategies For Complex Systems.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Ram Analysis Techniques, Tools, And Standards, Including Mil-Hdbk-217 And Fmeca.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading Ram Engineering Efforts On Large-Scale Projects, From Concept Through Production.

  • Strong Understanding Of Systems Engineering Principles And Processes, With The Ability To Map Ram Requirements To System Design And Architecture.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interface With Cross-Functional Teams And Customers To Drive Ram Improvements And Resolve Issues.
