
Accounting Specialist
At Saint Francis Health System, we are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team. We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to ensure the accurate maintenance and recording of financial data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, and be able to apply them to the unique needs of our organization.The successful candidate should possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to multi-task. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:
- Maintain and record accurate financial data in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Prepare financial statements and other reports in a timely manner.
- Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other financial activities.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Reconcile discrepancies and resolve any issues related to accounting.
- Liaise with external auditors and other stakeholders on financial matters.
- Provide support to other departments in the organization as needed.
- Monitor and update accounting records and systems as needed.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
