Health Information Technician

We are looking for a Health Information Technician to join the Saint Francis Health System team! The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and experience with medical records and data entry.The Health Information Technician is responsible for maintaining and organizing patient records and medical data. They will ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and security of all patient information. The Health Information Technician will be a key part of our team and will need to be highly organized and have excellent communication skills.To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of two years of experience working with medical records and data entry. You must have a working knowledge of HIPAA, ICD-10, and CPT codes and be comfortable using a variety of computer software. Previous experience with electronic medical records is also a plus. Furthermore, you must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to work well in a team environment.
