LPN - Orthopedics

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Orthopedic team at Saint Francis Health System. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality care to our patients in a team-oriented environment. The LPN – Orthopedics will be responsible for performing a variety of clinical and administrative duties to support patient care and satisfaction. This position requires excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills, as well as a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to assess patient needs.Required qualifications include:• Current LPN license in the state of Oklahoma• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)• Demonstrated clinical experience in a hospital setting• Ability to provide quality patient care with empathy and compassion• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Knowledge of medical terminology and patient safety principles

Responsibilities:

1. Provide quality patient care with empathy and compassion.
2. Assess patient needs and provide appropriate care in accordance with established protocols.
3. Monitor and record patient vitals and health status.
4. Administer medications and treatments in a safe and timely manner.
5. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
6. Educate patients and families on proper care and treatment.
7. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
8. Maintain all documentation and records in accordance with legal and medical standards.
9. Participate in team meetings and actively contribute to patient treatment planning.
10. Assist with other duties as needed.
