Responsibilities: • Perform phlebotomy procedures on patients in adherence to Saint Francis Health System policies and procedures • Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing • Follow safety and infection control protocols • Maintain accurate patient records • Ensure proper labeling of specimens • Monitor and maintain the quality of specimens • Assist with laboratory equipment maintenance and troubleshooting • Answer patient inquiries regarding phlebotomy procedures • Work cooperatively with other healthcare professionals to foster a positive work environment • Maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and empathy at all times
