Salem Health seeks a certified Medical Assistant with experience in GYN/Oncology to join our dynamic team. To be successful in this role, you must have a professional certification as a Medical Assistant with experience in GYN/Oncology. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide high quality patient care in accordance with the standards of GYN/Oncology.
  2. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of all medical information.
  3. Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to provide patient-centered care.
  4. Prepare exam rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  5. Assist physicians with patient examinations and treatments.
  6. Administer injections and medications as needed.
  7. Take and record patient vital signs and medical histories.
  8. Provide education and support to patients and their families.
  9. Assist with scheduling tests, procedures, and follow-up appointments.
  10. Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of exam rooms and medical equipment.
  11. Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
