Job Description

Salem Health is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, helping to support our Human Resources Department. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about HR and has a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, a minimum of two years of HR experience, and excellent communication, problem-solving, and computer skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the Human Resources Department, including recruitment, onboarding, training, employee relations, and payroll.
  2. Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures as required.
  3. Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR-related matters.
  4. Monitor and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  5. Assist with the development and implementation of HR strategies to support organizational objectives.
  6. Analyze employee performance data and identify opportunities for improvement.
  7. Monitor and manage employee benefits programs.
  8. Maintain employee records and personnel files.
  9. Create and update job descriptions as needed.
  10. Respond to inquiries from employees and the public regarding HR-related matters.
