We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate, and knowledgeable Nutrition Services professional who will provide exceptional customer service and quality nutrition care to our patients. As part of the Nutrition Services team, you will be responsible for providing nutritional counseling and education to patients and families, managing menus, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, registered dietitian credentials, and experience in a hospital setting. In addition, the successful candidate must possess excellent communication and customer service skills, have an understanding of nutrition care in the hospital setting, and be able to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities:
- Provide nutritional counseling and education to patients and families.
- Manage patient menus and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Develop and implement nutrition care plans and strategies for patients.
- Monitor patient progress and update care plans as needed.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
- Participate in staff meetings and other departmental activities.
- Remain current on the latest nutrition research and trends.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and families.
- Act as a resource for nutrition-related questions and inquiries.
