Completion Of An Accredited Phlebotomy Training Program: Candidates For A Phlebotomist Position At Salem Health Must Have Completed A Formal Training Program In Phlebotomy From An Accredited Institution. This Ensures That The Candidate Has The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Perform The Job Effectively.
Certification As A Phlebotomy Technician: Salem Health Requires Candidates To Have A Certification As A Phlebotomy Technician From A Recognized Organization Such As The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp) Or The National Phlebotomy Association (Npa). This Demonstrates The Candidate's Proficiency In The Field And Adherence To Industry Standards.
