  1. Conduct automated testing of software products to ensure high-quality and reliable performance.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design effective testing strategies.
  3. Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts.
  4. Identify, report, and track software defects and work with development teams to resolve them.
  5. Analyze and troubleshoot test failures, and provide recommendations for improvements.
  6. Continuously monitor and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the automated testing process.
  7. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in automation testing techniques.
  8. Mentor and train team members on automation best practices and tools.
  9. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of testing progress and results to project stakeholders.
  10. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve overall code quality.
  11. Collaborate with developers to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and deployment process.
  12. Adhere to company QA standards and procedures.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Understanding Of Software Testing Principles: A Qa Automation Engineer At Schlumberger Must Possess A Solid Foundation In Software Testing Principles, Including Test Case Design, Test Automation, And Defect Tracking.

  • Proficiency In Test Automation Tools: The Ideal Candidate Must Have Experience With Popular Test Automation Tools Such As Selenium, Appium, And Cucumber. They Should Also Have Hands-On Experience With Scripting Languages Such As Java, Python, Or Javascript.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Best Practices: Schlumberger Is A Leader In The Oil And Gas Industry, And The Qa Automation Engineer Must Be Knowledgeable About Industry Best Practices And Standards For Software Testing. This Includes Understanding Of Agile Methodologies And Continuous Integration And Deployment.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: The Qa Automation Engineer Should Have Excellent Problem-Solving Skills And Be Able To Troubleshoot Complex Issues In A Timely Manner. They Should Also Be Able To Identify And Suggest Ways To Improve The Automation Process.

  • Communication And Collaboration Skills: As Part Of A Cross-Functional Team, The Qa Automation Engineer Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With Developers, Product Managers, And Other Stakeholders.
