1. Receive and accurately process incoming shipments of merchandise from vendors or other warehouses.
2. Inspect all incoming shipments for accuracy, damages, and shortages.
3. Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse, ensuring efficient and safe storage of merchandise.
4. Prepare outgoing shipments by carefully packaging and labeling items.
5. Ensure all outgoing shipments are accurately documented and scheduled for delivery.
6. Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
7. Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to resolve any shipping or receiving issues.
8. Work closely with the purchasing and inventory control teams to manage inventory levels and identify any discrepancies.
9. Assist in conducting physical inventory counts and audits.
10. Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe at all times.
11. Train and mentor new team members as needed.
12. Adhere to all safety and security procedures and protocols.
13. Continuously identify ways to improve shipping and receiving processes and procedures.
14. Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and timely delivery of merchandise.
15. Provide exceptional customer service to all internal and external stakeholders.
16. Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.
