Fuel Category Manager
Coordinates the scheduling and planning of fuel supply chain management and operations, conducts spend and market analysis to coordinate supply chain strategy development. Expert in performing difficult analysis, interpreting results, and providing effective recommendations. Contracts, schedules and forecasts fuel supply for multiple locations throughout Southwest’s network with a holistic view of team impact and performance. Acts as commodity and industry subject matter expert; supports internal and external Customers through sharing expertise. Finds ways to continuously improve performance and processes; actively engages others. Uses expertise in fuel supply chain (and industry) and mutually beneficial relationships to execute agreements that are in the best interest of SWA.
At least five years experience in either supply chain management, fuel accounting, fuel purchasing, fuel operations, or fuel quality required
