- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on high voltage electrical systems throughout the state.
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests to ensure the safety and reliability of electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, and make necessary repairs or recommendations for replacements.
- Monitor and track system performance, and report any abnormalities or concerns to superiors.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations, and ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate work and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Keep accurate records of work completed, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and replacements.
- Stay current with industry advancements and safety guidelines, and share knowledge and updates with colleagues.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and assist in resolving any electrical issues.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders, including citizens, colleagues, and superiors.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working As A High Voltage Electrician.
Valid Journeyman Electrician License Issued By The State Of Pennsylvania.
Extensive Knowledge Of High Voltage Systems And Equipment, Including Transformers, Switchgear, And Circuit Breakers.
Ability To Read And Interpret Electrical Blueprints, Schematics, And Diagrams.
Familiarity With Safety Regulations And Procedures Related To High Voltage Work, Such As Lockout/Tagout And Arc Flash Protection.
