- Conduct regular meetings with assigned parolees to assess their progress and provide guidance and support in their reintegration process.
- Monitor and document parolees' compliance with the terms of their release and report any violations to the appropriate authorities.
- Develop and implement individualized parole plans for each assigned parolee, considering their unique needs and circumstances.
- Collaborate with community resources and service providers to connect parolees with necessary support and assistance.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions and progress of assigned parolees.
- Conduct home visits to ensure the safety and stability of parolees' living arrangements.
- Attend court hearings and other legal proceedings related to assigned parolees.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to parolees and their families when necessary.
- Serve as a liaison between the parolee, their family, and the criminal justice system.
- Stay up-to-date on laws, regulations, and policies related to parole and probation in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance job performance.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and external stakeholders.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards while fulfilling job duties.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of parole programs and policies.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for parolees to promote successful reintegration into society.
Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice Or A Related Field.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Probation Or Parole Work.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws Related To Parole And Supervision Of Offenders.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills For Working With Offenders, Their Families, And Other Stakeholders.
Ability To Make Sound Decisions And Handle Potentially Dangerous Situations In A Calm And Professional Manner.
