We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Sign Shop Manager to join our team and oversee the production and installation of all signs for our state's roads and highways. As the Sign Shop Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and functionality of our transportation system.   1. Oversee the production and installation of all signs for the state's roads and highways.
  2. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as industry standards, for sign production and installation.
  3. Develop and implement processes and procedures for efficient and effective sign production and installation.
  4. Manage a team of sign production and installation staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  5. Provide leadership and guidance to the sign production team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  6. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of sign materials and supplies to ensure timely production and installation.
  7. Collaborate with other departments and agencies to coordinate sign placement and ensure consistency and accuracy of signage.
  8. Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure all signs meet required standards and specifications.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of sign materials.
  10. Stay updated on new technologies and techniques in sign production and installation, and make recommendations for their implementation.
  11. Develop and manage the sign shop budget, including forecasting and cost control measures.
  12. Ensure the safety of all sign production and installation processes, and promptly address any safety concerns or incidents.
  13. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to sign production and installation.
  14. Represent the sign shop and department at meetings, conferences, and other events as needed.
  15. Continuously strive for process improvement and identify opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce costs in sign production and installation.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Sign Shop Management Or A Related Field.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Management, Marketing, Or A Related Field.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Manage A Team And Work Collaboratively With Other Departments.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Sign-Making Techniques, Materials, And Equipment.

  • Familiarity With State And Federal Regulations Related To Sign Production And Installation.
