  1. Develop and implement emergency management plans to ensure preparedness for potential disasters and emergencies.
  2. Coordinate with local and federal agencies to ensure effective communication and collaboration during emergency situations.
  3. Provide critical support to communities during emergencies and disasters, including organizing and coordinating resources, managing logistics, and assessing needs.
  4. Monitor and analyze data to identify potential risks and develop proactive strategies for mitigating potential disasters.
  5. Train and educate individuals and organizations on emergency preparedness and response procedures.
  6. Serve as a liaison between state agencies and local communities to ensure effective communication and coordination during emergency situations.
  7. Maintain and update emergency management plans and procedures regularly to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  8. Participate in disaster drills and exercises to test emergency response plans and identify areas for improvement.
  9. Respond to emergency situations and provide on-site support as needed.
  10. Stay current on emergency management best practices and procedures to continuously improve processes and response capabilities.
  11. Collaborate with other team members and agencies to develop and implement comprehensive emergency response strategies.
  12. Assist with administrative tasks such as budgeting, grant writing, and reporting.
  13. Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and the public to provide updates and information on emergency situations.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all emergency management activities.
  15. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of team members and the public during emergency situations.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Emergency Management, Public Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Emergency Management Or Disaster Response.

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Emergency Management Regulations And Procedures.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills.

  • Experience In Developing And Implementing Emergency Response Plans.
