Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Credit Risk Strategist to join our Analytics team and drive our risk management efforts. As a Credit Risk Strategist, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to mitigate credit risk and ensure the financial stability of our platform. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about data-driven decision making and has a strong understanding of credit risk principles. If you are a proactive, analytical thinker with a keen eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you.

  1. Develop and implement credit risk management strategies to ensure the financial stability of the platform.
  2. Conduct thorough analysis and assessment of credit risk factors, including credit reports, financial statements, and other relevant data.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation plans.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing risk management strategies, and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in credit risk regulations, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  6. Utilize data-driven insights to identify potential areas of credit risk and develop proactive solutions.
  7. Communicate complex credit risk information to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  8. Collaborate with the Analytics team to develop and maintain credit risk models and tools.
  9. Conduct regular risk assessments and provide timely reports to management on key risk metrics.
  10. Foster a culture of risk awareness and responsibility throughout the organization.
  11. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of credit risk strategies and make recommendations for improvements.
  12. Proactively identify potential areas of credit risk and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  13. Conduct regular training and education sessions on credit risk management for team members to increase awareness and understanding.
  14. Maintain strong relationships with external partners and vendors to gather and analyze relevant credit risk data.
  15. Collaborate with other departments, such as Finance and Compliance, to ensure alignment and consistency in risk management efforts.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Quantitative Field Such As Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Or Finance.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Credit Risk Analysis, Preferably In The Financial Services Or Technology Industry.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Manipulate And Analyze Large Datasets Using Statistical Software Such As Sas, R, Or Python.

  • Knowledge And Experience With Credit Risk Models And Methodologies, Including Scorecard Development, Stress Testing, And Portfolio Risk Analysis.

  • Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Analytical Findings To Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders.
