- Design and develop innovative solutions for driving revenue growth on our billing platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements
- Drive technical strategy and provide technical leadership to the Billing Growth Engineering team
- Mentor and guide team members to improve their technical skills and continuously improve the team's overall performance
- Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality, reliable, and scalable code is delivered
- Identify and address technical debt and work towards continuously improving our billing platform
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends, and recommend strategies for their implementation to improve our product offerings
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver new features and enhancements to our billing platform
- Contribute to the overall culture of innovation and excellence at Stripe by sharing knowledge, ideas, and best practices with the wider engineering team
- Work towards making a meaningful impact on businesses around the world by shaping the future of online payments.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Software Engineering, With A Focus On Billing And Payments Systems.
Strong Understanding Of Billing And Payment Processes, Including Experience With Subscription Models, Invoicing, And Pricing Structures.
Proficiency In Multiple Programming Languages, Such As Java, Python, Or Ruby, And Experience With Modern Web Development Frameworks.
Proven Track Record Of Driving Growth And Scalability In A High-Traffic, High-Volume Environment, With A Strong Emphasis On Data-Driven Decision Making.
