  1. Develop and implement quality standards and procedures for the design and development of medical devices, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  2. Conduct risk assessments and identify potential design flaws or issues that may impact product quality and patient safety.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and regulatory affairs, to drive quality improvements throughout the product development process.
  4. Perform design reviews and provide feedback on design changes or modifications to ensure they meet quality standards and design requirements.
  5. Monitor and analyze product performance data, identifying trends and areas for improvement in design and manufacturing processes.
  6. Investigate and resolve any quality-related issues or complaints related to design, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers.
  7. Develop and maintain quality documentation, including design control plans, risk management plans, and design verification and validation protocols.
  8. Conduct audits and assessments of suppliers and contractors to ensure they meet quality requirements and standards.
  9. Participate in design control meetings and provide updates on quality metrics and issues to senior management.
  10. Continuously monitor and evaluate industry trends and advancements in design and quality control practices, implementing improvements as necessary to maintain a competitive edge.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Quality Engineering Role, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Fda Regulations And Iso Standards For Medical Devices.

  • Experience With Design Control Processes, Risk Management, And Statistical Analysis.

  • Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Cross-Functionally And Lead Quality Improvement Projects.
