Job Description

Stryker is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our team in this exciting role. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the HR department of a leading global medical technology company.The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. They will be able to demonstrate an interest in Human Resources, be able to work independently, and possess the ability to adjust to a rapidly changing environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, scheduling interviews, conducting pre-screening calls, and conducting background checks.
  2. Assist with onboarding activities, such as preparing orientation materials, setting up new hire paperwork, and organizing orientation meetings.
  3. Assist with employee relations, such as addressing employee concerns and complaints, and managing disciplinary actions.
  4. Maintain and update employee records, such as personnel files, benefits information, and other HR information.
  5. Assist with employee training and development, including researching training materials and coordinating training sessions.
  6. Monitor and analyze HR metrics, such as turnover, absenteeism, and employee satisfaction.
  7. Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  8. Assist with employee exit interviews and processes.
  9. Provide administrative support, such as filing documents, generating reports, and responding to emails.
  10. Performs other related duties as assigned.
