A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, while a Master's degree or relevant certification is preferred.   1. Develop and implement compliance programs for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, ensuring adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.
  2. Conduct compliance due diligence for potential M&A transactions, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and address any compliance or privacy concerns during the M&A process.
  4. Monitor and evaluate ongoing compliance with regulatory frameworks and company policies.
  5. Ensure protection of customer and employee privacy throughout the M&A process.
  6. Stay up-to-date on changes in regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to M&A compliance and privacy.
  7. Train and educate employees on compliance and privacy policies and procedures.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as legal and regulatory bodies, to stay informed of any changes or updates in compliance requirements.
  9. Prepare and submit reports to management regarding compliance and privacy activities and findings.
  10. Collaborate with internal audit teams to conduct regular audits of M&A processes and procedures.
  11. Act as a subject matter expert on compliance and privacy matters related to M&A for the company.
  12. Provide guidance and support to other team members on compliance and privacy issues.
  13. Work with external advisors and consultants as needed to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  14. Maintain accurate and organized records of all compliance and privacy activities.
  15. Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance compliance and privacy practices within the company.
