- Lead the human factors and usability engineering efforts for all medical technology products developed by Stryker.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, marketing, and regulatory to ensure that human factors and usability are incorporated into the product development process.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to identify potential user needs and requirements.
- Develop and implement human factors and usability engineering strategies and processes to ensure that products are safe, effective, and user-friendly.
- Analyze and interpret user feedback and data to provide recommendations for product improvements.
- Create and maintain human factors and usability engineering documentation, including user requirements, design specifications, and risk assessments.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to human factors and usability engineering.
- Train and mentor junior human factors and usability engineers on best practices and methodologies.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure that human factors and usability standards are met.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on human factors and usability engineering in cross-functional meetings and presentations.
Bachelor's Degree Or Higher In Human Factors Engineering, Usability Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Human Factors/ Usability Engineering In The Medical Device Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Fda And International Regulations And Standards Related To Human Factors/ Usability Engineering In Medical Devices.
Expertise In Conducting User Research, Usability Testing, And Risk Management Activities Throughout The Product Development Lifecycle.
Excellent Problem-Solving And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Findings To Stakeholders.
