
Staff Mechanical Engineer, R&D
We are seeking an innovative and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join the R&D team at Stryker. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components, assembling prototypes, and troubleshooting designs. To be successful in this role, you must have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of two years of experience in mechanical engineering. Additionally, you must have a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for innovation. Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies
- Assemble prototypes and troubleshoot designs
- Analyze mechanical engineering principles and develop innovative solutions
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure designs are viable and meet customer needs
- Assist in the testing and troubleshooting of mechanical components
- Document designs and present them for peer review
- Monitor project progress and timelines
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technological advancements in mechanical engineering
