Application Analyst - Epic Beacon

As an Application Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clinical staff and ensuring the successful implementation and maintenance of the Beacon system. - Collaborate with clinical staff and IT team to identify and prioritize workflow and system improvement opportunities within the Epic Beacon system
- Serve as subject matter expert for Epic Beacon system, providing ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to clinical staff
- Develop, test, and implement system enhancements and updates to improve efficiency and functionality of the Epic Beacon system
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve any issues that may arise
- Train new and existing staff on system functionality and best practices for using Epic Beacon
- Serve as a liaison between clinical staff and IT team, communicating system updates and changes in a clear and timely manner
- Stay up-to-date on latest Epic Beacon releases and features and make recommendations for optimization and utilization of these updates
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of system processes, configurations, and changes
- Collaborate with IT team to ensure data integrity and security of the Epic Beacon system
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and system maintenance as needed.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Systems, Or A Related Field.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Complex Technical Issues.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Working With Epic Beacon In A Healthcare Setting.
Epic Beacon Certification Or The Ability To Obtain Certification Within 6 Months Of Hire.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And End-Users.
