Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Application Analyst to join our dynamic team at Sutter Health. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and optimizing the Epic Inpatient ClinDoc application, ensuring its smooth and efficient operation to enhance patient care and workflow processes.   1. Serve as the primary point of contact for all issues related to the Epic Inpatient ClinDoc application, providing timely and effective support to end-users.
  2. Monitor and maintain the performance of the application, identifying and troubleshooting any issues that may arise to ensure its smooth and efficient operation.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and understand business needs and requirements, and translate them into technical solutions within the application.
  4. Develop and implement enhancements and upgrades to the application, working closely with the vendor and internal teams to ensure all changes are properly tested and deployed.
  5. Train and educate end-users on the functionalities and best practices of the application, ensuring they are utilizing it to its full potential.
  6. Conduct regular audits and reviews of the application to identify areas for improvement and optimization, making recommendations and implementing changes as needed.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in the application, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, such as HIPAA and Meaningful Use, in the use and management of the application.
  9. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure proper integration and interoperability of the application with other systems and technologies.
  10. Document all processes, procedures, and changes related to the application, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  11. Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as needed.
  12. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, from end-users to senior management, providing regular updates and reports on the status of the application.
  13. Act as a mentor and resource for other team members, sharing knowledge and expertise to promote continuous learning and development within the team.
  14. Adhere to Sutter Health's mission, vision, and values, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Systems, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Working With Epic Inpatient Clindoc Applications.

  • Epic Inpatient Clindoc Certification Or Proficiency In Other Epic Applications.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Complex Technical Issues.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Stakeholders And Departments.
