  1. Perform specimen processing duties, including receiving and labeling samples, centrifuging and aliquoting specimens, and distributing samples to appropriate laboratory departments.
  2. Ensure accuracy and quality of specimens by following established procedures and protocols.
  3. Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory work areas, including storage of supplies and proper disposal of hazardous materials.
  4. Record and maintain accurate documentation of all laboratory processes and procedures.
  5. Process and track laboratory orders and results in a timely and efficient manner.
  6. Collaborate with laboratory team members to troubleshoot issues and maintain smooth operations.
  7. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
  8. Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and patients to ensure proper collection and processing of specimens.
  9. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards, including HIPAA and OSHA.
  10. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with industry developments and advancements in laboratory practices.
  11. Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering of laboratory supplies.
  12. Perform clerical duties, such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient records.
  13. Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and healthcare providers.
  14. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and optimization of laboratory processes.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Experience Working In A Clinical Laboratory Setting

  • Certified Phlebotomy Technician (Cpt) Certification From A Nationally Recognized Organization Such As Ascp Or Amt

  • Strong Knowledge Of Laboratory Procedures, Equipment, And Safety Protocols
