
Environmental Services Technician

- Ensure a Clean and Safe Environment: The primary responsibility of the Environmental Services Technician will be to maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This includes performing daily cleaning and disinfection of patient rooms, common areas, and medical equipment.
- Follow Environmental Safety Protocols: The Technician will be responsible for following all environmental safety protocols and procedures to prevent the spread of infections and maintain a healthy environment. This includes properly disposing of hazardous waste and using appropriate cleaning products and equipment.
- Uphold Environmental Sustainability: As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability, the Technician will be responsible for implementing and promoting environmentally friendly practices throughout the facility. This may include recycling, reducing energy and water consumption, and using eco-friendly cleaning products.
- Collaborate with Team Members: The Technician will work closely with other members of the Environmental Services team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This may include coordinating schedules, assisting with training, and communicating any issues or concerns.
- Maintain Supplies and Equipment: The Technician will be responsible for monitoring and restocking cleaning supplies and ensuring all equipment is in good working condition. This will help to ensure a continuous supply of essential items and maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the facility.
- Adhere to Regulatory Standards: The Technician will be expected to adhere to all regulatory standards and guidelines related to environmental safety and cleanliness. This includes following OSHA, CDC, and Joint Commission regulations, as well as any local or state requirements.
- Document and Report: The Technician will be responsible for documenting and reporting any maintenance or repair needs, as well as any environmental incidents or concerns. This will help to ensure timely resolution of issues and maintain a record of compliance.
- Provide Exceptional Customer Service: The Technician will play a vital role in creating a positive patient experience by providing exceptional customer service. This may include responding to patient and visitor inquiries or requests in a timely and professional manner.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent
Prior Experience In Cleaning And Maintenance, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting
Knowledge Of Cleaning And Disinfecting Techniques And Products
