Job Description

  1. Develop and implement environmental policies and procedures in line with the company's goals and values.
  2. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the environmental services department, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
  3. Lead and mentor a team of environmental services staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of environmental initiatives.
  4. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to promote and integrate sustainable practices throughout the organization.
  5. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and track progress towards environmental goals.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in environmental sustainability, and make recommendations for incorporating new initiatives.
  7. Manage the department budget and resources, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented.
  8. Coordinate with external partners and vendors to procure environmentally-friendly products and services.
  9. Communicate and promote the organization's environmental initiatives to staff, patients, and the community.
  10. Maintain compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and requirements.
  11. Prepare and present reports on environmental performance to senior management and stakeholders.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to maximize efficiency and minimize the organization's environmental footprint.
  13. Serve as a resource and point of contact for any environmental concerns or inquiries.
  14. Foster a culture of environmental responsibility and sustainability within the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Public Health, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Environmental Services, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Environmental Regulations And Compliance Standards, Such As Osha, Epa, And Joint Commission.

  • Proven Leadership And Management Skills, Including Experience In Staff Supervision, Budget Management, And Project Management.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Maintain Positive Relationships With Stakeholders.
