- Prepare and maintain examination and treatment rooms with necessary supplies and equipment.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the neurologist.
- Perform basic diagnostic tests such as blood pressure, EKGs, and blood draws.
- Ensure all patient information is accurately documented and maintained in electronic medical records.
- Schedule appointments and follow-up visits for patients.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and their families, providing emotional support and addressing any concerns.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members, including nurses and administrative staff, to ensure efficient and effective patient care.

Completion Of An Accredited Medical Assistant Program: To Be Considered For A Medical Assistant Role At Sutter Health, Candidates Should Have Completed A Recognized Medical Assistant Program. This Ensures That They Have The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Perform The Job Duties Effectively.
