- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all medical staff members, including licenses, certifications, and credentials.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, orientations, and trainings for medical staff members.
- Serve as a liaison between medical staff members and hospital administration, relaying important information and updates.
- Facilitate the credentialing and re-credentialing process for medical staff members, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with various departments within the organization to ensure efficient communication and coordination of medical staff services.
- Review and maintain policies and procedures related to medical staff services, making updates and improvements as needed.
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and other important documents for medical staff meetings.
- Respond to inquiries and concerns from medical staff members in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new medical staff members.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and systems to enhance the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the medical staff services department.
Bachelor's Degree In Health Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Medical Staff Services Or Credentialing.
Knowledge Of Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules And Regulations, And Accreditation Requirements.
Excellent Organizational And Time-Management Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize And Manage Multiple Tasks Simultaneously.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Physicians, Hospital Leadership, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
