Welcome to Sutter Health! We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Mobile Mammo Scheduler and Registration. In this role, you will play a crucial role in helping us provide crucial breast cancer screenings to our patients. We are seeking someone with excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as experience in scheduling and registration.   1. Schedule Mammogram Appointments: The primary responsibility of the Mobile Mammo Scheduler and Registration will be to schedule appointments for breast cancer screenings for patients. This includes coordinating with patients, healthcare providers, and the mobile mammogram unit to find suitable dates and times for screenings.
  2. Manage Patient Registration: The Mobile Mammo Scheduler and Registration will also be responsible for managing patient registration for mammogram appointments. This will involve collecting and verifying patient information, insurance details, and medical history.
  3. Provide Excellent Customer Service: As the first point of contact for patients, it will be the responsibility of the Mobile Mammo Scheduler and Registration to provide excellent customer service. This includes answering phone calls, responding to emails, and addressing any patient concerns or questions.
  4. Maintain Organization and Attention to Detail: As a highly organized and detail-oriented individual, the Mobile Mammo Scheduler and Registration will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date schedules, patient records, and other administrative tasks related to scheduling and registration.
  5. Coordinate with Healthcare Providers: The Mobile Mammo Scheduler and Registration will work closely with healthcare providers to ensure that patient appointments are scheduled in a timely and efficient manner. This may involve communicating with multiple healthcare facilities and providers to coordinate appointments.
  6. Promote Breast Cancer Screenings: As a key member of the breast cancer screening team, the Mobile Mammo Scheduler and Registration will also be responsible for promoting the importance of regular mammograms to patients and encouraging them to schedule appointments.
  7. Adhere to Healthcare Regulations: The Mobile Mammo Scheduler and Registration must have a thorough understanding of healthcare regulations and ensure that all patient information is handled in compliance with these regulations.
  8. Collaborate with Team Members: The Mobile Mammo Scheduler and Registration will work closely with other team members, including healthcare providers, administrative staff, and mobile mammogram unit staff, to ensure the smooth operation of the breast cancer screening program.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of A Relevant Degree Or Certification Program In Healthcare Administration, Medical Office Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Scheduling And Registration In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Mammography Services.

  • Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology, Insurance Verification, And Hipaa Regulations.

  • Proficiency In Using Electronic Medical Record Systems And Scheduling Software.

  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Handle Sensitive And Confidential Information With Discretion And Compassion.
