- Assist and support healthcare professionals in the delivery of quality care to expecting mothers
- Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and supplies for procedures
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Perform pre-operative and post-operative tasks, such as patient positioning and wound care
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Document patient information accurately and timely
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective workflow
- Attend and participate in departmental meetings and trainings

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For An Ob Tech Job At Sutter Health May Include A High School Diploma Or Ged.
Certified Surgical Technician (Cst) Credential: Sutter Health May Require Candidates To Hold A Cst Credential From An Accredited Program Or Organization.
Prior Experience In Obstetrics Or Gynecology: Previous Experience Working In A Labor And Delivery Unit, Women's Health Clinic, Or Ob/Gyn Office May Be Preferred For An Ob Tech Position At Sutter Health.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Equipment: An Understanding Of Medical Terminology, Procedures, And Equipment Used In Obstetrics And Gynecology Is Essential For This Role.
Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: Ob Techs At Sutter Health Should Possess Strong Communication Skills And The Ability To Work Well In A Team To Ensure The Safety And Comfort Of Patients.
