
Patient Access Representative

- Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and respectful manner.
- Schedule patient appointments and accurately enter patient information into the electronic medical record system.
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for services.
- Collect and process patient payments, including copayments and deductibles.
- Ensure accurate and timely registration of patients, including demographic and insurance information.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient use of resources.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of insurance plans, eligibility requirements, and billing processes.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated on policies, procedures, and systems.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Attend team meetings and actively contribute to discussions and problem-solving initiatives.
- Continuously strive to enhance the patient experience and exceed expectations.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Or Customer Service Setting
Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Insurance Policies
Proficiency In Computer Systems And Data Entry, Including Emr And Scheduling Software
