1. Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and respectful manner.
3. Schedule patient appointments and accurately enter patient information into the electronic medical record system.
4. Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for services.
5. Collect and process patient payments, including copayments and deductibles.
6. Ensure accurate and timely registration of patients, including demographic and insurance information.
7. Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient use of resources.
8. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
9. Maintain a thorough understanding of insurance plans, eligibility requirements, and billing processes.
10. Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated on policies, procedures, and systems.
11. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
12. Attend team meetings and actively contribute to discussions and problem-solving initiatives.
13. Continuously strive to enhance the patient experience and exceed expectations.
