  • Conduct thorough evaluations of pediatric patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and patient goals
  • Implement evidence-based intervention techniques to improve patient outcomes
  • Monitor and track patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients
  • Educate patients and their families on therapy goals, exercises, and home programs to promote carryover of progress outside of therapy sessions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice and comply with all regulatory guidelines
  • Continuously expand knowledge and skills through ongoing professional development and training opportunities
  • Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and their families, providing emotional support and addressing any concerns or questions
  • Represent the Pediatric Rehab team and Sutter Health in a positive and professional manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Physical Therapy: The Candidate Must Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Physical Therapy From An Accredited Institution. This Degree Will Provide The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Work With Pediatric Patients.

  • State Licensure: The Candidate Must Hold A Current And Valid License To Practice Physical Therapy In The State Where The Job Is Located. This Ensures That The Therapist Meets The State's Requirements For Competency And Ethical Practice.

  • Specialization In Pediatric Physical Therapy: Sutter Health Is Seeking A Candidate With Specialized Training And Experience In Pediatric Physical Therapy. This Could Include Additional Certifications Or Advanced Degrees In Pediatric Rehabilitation.

  • Experience Working With Pediatric Patients: The Ideal Candidate Will Have Experience Working With Children In A Physical Therapy Setting. This Could Include Internships, Clinical Rotations, Or Previous Employment In A Pediatric Rehabilitation Facility.
