  1. Provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients in an urgent care setting.
  2. Assess and triage patients based on their immediate medical needs.
  3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

  5. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Registered Nurse (Rn) At Sutter Health Should Possess A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution. This Degree Provides A Strong Foundation In Nursing Theory, Clinical Skills, And Evidence-Based Practice.

  • Current Rn License: All Rns At Sutter Health Must Have A Valid And Current Registered Nurse License In The State Of Employment. This License Ensures That The Nurse Has Met The Necessary Educational And Ethical Standards To Practice Nursing.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience: Sutter Health Requires Rns To Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience In An Acute Care Setting, Preferably In An Urgent Care Or Emergency Department. This Experience Helps The Nurse To Efficiently Handle Urgent Medical Situations And Provide Quality Patient Care.

  • Bls And Acls Certification: The Ability To Perform Basic And Advanced Life Support Is Crucial For An Urgent Care Rn. Therefore, Sutter Health Requires All Rns To Have Current Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Certifications.

  • Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills: As An Urgent Care Rn, One Must Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Team Members. They Must Also Possess Strong Critical Thinking Skills To Make Quick And Accurate Decisions In Emergency Situations.
